Noirmoutier, an island with several different types of access:
- By the bridge: free and permanent authorised access for all vehicles
- By boat: trips to the island from a number of ports for holidaymakers who have their sea legs
- By the Passage du Gois: a route that is only open at low tide (at high tide, it is below sea level)
For fans of water sports or activities, Noirmoutier is the ideal destination! Here visitors can enjoy a whole host of varied activities: windsurfing, diving, sand yachting, canoeing or kite-surfing, among others.
With natural landscapes and preserved architecture, Noirmoutier is filled with history, and has a "heart" based around agriculture, fishing and salt farming.
During your stay at Les Alouettes campsite, we warmly recommend you visit this marvellous island with its 40 kilometres of beaches, and considered one of the region's most beautiful jewels.
The Vendée island of Yeu, a little further away from the continent, and the most unspoilt of all. It can be reached by boat from the ports of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and Fromentine, as well as by helicopter and small private boats.
This immersed island is so to speak a "taste" of Brittany with its prehistoric remains, such as dolmens, menhirs and cupule stones.
