Nestling in the heart of the C\u00f4te des Lumi\u00e8res between Les Sables d’Olonne and Talmont Saint Hilaire on the departmental road 949 (GPS: N: 46,477; W:1,667), the Mus\u00e9e de l’Automobile de Vend\u00e9e is first and foremost a family story: that of the GIRON family, who for over 75 years have been collecting, restoring and maintaining cars, 2-wheelers and all kinds of accessories linked to historic vehicles, for the pleasure of preserving our heritage.<\/p>

More than 150 vehicles are presented to the public in a 3,300 m\u00b2 hall, with a wealth of explanations, posters, mannequins and period accessories.<\/p>

A cornerstone of tourism in the Pays des Olonnes, the Mus\u00e9e de l’Auto de Vend\u00e9e is well worth a visit for its rich collections, which continue to expand over the years.<\/p>
