Yeu Island<\/h1>

\u00cele d’Yeu, an island in the Vend\u00e9e, certainly a little out of the way from the mainland, but the wildest of them all. It is accessible by boat from the ports of Saint Gilles Croix de Vie <\/strong>and Fromentine, but also by helicopter and small private boats. <\/p>

There are few motorized vehicles on the island… but plenty of bikes and tandems! A great day out for the whole family, in a peaceful, natural environment. This submerged island has a “taste” of Brittany, with its prehistoric remains such as dolmens, menhirs and cup stones. Over its 23 km length, Yeu Island boasts a wealth of maritime monuments: lighthouses, beacons, small harbours… As the Ogians so aptly put it, ” Oya deux jours, Oya toujours <\/strong> “!
